Asaad Alazzam .... "I hope to see in the near future in Jordan a strong political alliances , and to see our political parties take its place on the political scene."
Omar Mahmod.... "The National Programme of Political Development in Jordan "should be a comprehensive and directed to all segments of the Jordanian society."
Mr. Azzam: Tell us about the national program, which will be implemented by your ministry next year to increase political participation in Jordan?
In the fact, the national program is a comprehensive program ,directed to all Jordanian citizens, to encourage them to participate in the elections, and joining to the political parties, and to know their political rights ,,, it's also aim to revitalize and active the role of political parties to be a decision-makers in Jordan.
Mr.Omar Mahmod: What are the most important and the Ministry of Political and Parliamentary Affairs projects in the near future?
I see that it comes on top of the priorities of these projects "forum of political parties in the Jordanian universities" This activity is bound to continue because of its importance because it appeals to young people and, most importantly, a targeted group.
Mr. Azzam:What about the election law. Do you have any details about it?
I hope to push forward to increase the party representation in the House of Representatives.
Mr.Omar Mahmod: how do you perceive the development of the political parties in Jordan?
We must first work to remove obstacles that stand bulwark against the progress and development of political parties, most notably reluctance to engage in political action it must be pointed out that the political parties are the national institutions combine and is keen to two things, "the nation and leadership,"
Mr. Azzam:What is your vision and your assessment of the performance of political parties in Jordan؟
I see that the parties are earnest to achieve what you seek when the political conditions are right, as well as provide the appropriate party work environment, then we can evaluate the performance of the parties and judge them.
Mr.Omar Mahmod: Why did you refuse the draft political parties law recently?
The draft has refused for several reasons,,,, the government did not consult us when drafting the draft, especialy ...we are the stakeholders?!
also the draft did not determine the future of the political participation of political parties in the formation of governments
Mr. Azzam: What do you think the final draft of the law of parties, especially after the refusal by all the political parties?
I think it is the right of political parties to participate in the formulation of the laws that govern political life in Jordan, for this .... agreed with the decision to parties and I understand the reason for rejection of draft
